Presentation of Installation Research Projects “GRiMM” and “NANO-PM” at the UNIZAG FSB

On Tuesday, on November 13, 2018, at 11 am at the Club of Teachers of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (UNIZAG FSB), the presentation of the Croatian Science Foundation’s Installation Research Projects was held; The Green Modular Passenger Vessel for Mediterranean (GRiMM) project  was presented by the project leader Assistant Professor Nikola Vladimir, and the project Nanostructured hardmetals – New challenges for powder metallurgy (NANO-PM), was presented by project leader dr. sc. Tamara Aleksandrov Fabijanić.

Presentation of the GriMM project on IST Lisbon

From 2 to 10 November 2018, Ivica Ančić, an associate at the GRiMM project, visited the Universidade de Lisboa, Instituto Superior Técnico, where he also presented the GRiMM project to the members of the Department of Maritime Technology and Marine Engineering (Centro de Engenharia e Tecnologia Naval e Oceânica – CENTEC).

Presentation of the GRiMM project in the premises of the Croatian Chamber of Economy

In the premises of the Croatian Chamber of Economy in Zagreb, on October 26, 2018, a National Workshop on green solutions for inland shipping and a National Workshop for validation of the “Policy Agenda” were held within the framework of INTERREG “GREEN DANUBE” project. Within the workshop program, Dr. Ivica Ančić, an associate of the GRiMM project, has participated with a presentation on green and innovative technologies for reducing harmful emissions in maritime traffic. He also presented the GRiMM project and achieved results so far.
